Collection & use

Most of the personal information we collect is so that you can subscribe to our publications, advertise in our magazines and on our web products, have a listing in one of our industry directories, complete a survey, enter a competition or communicate with us.

For the most part, the information so collected is name, address, contact details and gender. It is used to enable us to provide you with the products and services requested, to communicate with readers and enhance our services.

We may disclose personal information in accordance with the Act, when:

• we have your consent
• you were told when collecting it that it could be disclosed for that purpose, or for a related purpose that you would expect
• we are required by law to disclose it
• it is part of business assets we may be selling.

Security

We take great care of your security & privacy when you use our e-commerce facilities to place orders. Secure server software (SSL) encrypts your credit card information that you input before it is sent to us so that it cannot be read by any prying eyes. Information given in the ordering process is used only to fulfil the order and is never given to third parties except as part of the ordering process.

Like most websites, we may use cookies (which hold information within your PC) to save you re-entering some information on your next visit, or to otherwise enhance your visit.
