Xmas comes early at Brisbane’s biggest public market
Just in time for Christmas, Brisbanes biggest market, Brisbane MarketPlace at Rocklea has announced a Christmas Fresh Market on the Tuesday before Christmas.
With only a few shopping days left to Christmas the market will be selling fresh fruit and vegetables, flowers, gourmet food items and last minute Christmas presents.
Retail Markets Manager Ken Kay said there will be loads of fresh produce available.
“With over 120 stallholders we are expecting a great customer turnout to pick-up some good quality fresh produce for the Christmas table,” Mr Kay said.
“Market shopping is becoming more popular as people know that they will be able to buy great, fresh produce at a good price as well as enjoy a market atmosphere.
“There will be ample parking available for market shoppers to enjoy one of the last opportunities to stock-up on those essential items for the holiday period.”
The Brisbane MarketPlace Christmas Fresh Market will be held on Tuesday 23 December from 2pm until 7pm at Sherwood Road Rocklea (opposite Brisbane Markets).
Entry is $1 for adults.
