Industry Advisory Committee
The Brisbane Markets Industry Advisory Committee (BMIAC) is a horticultural industry-based committee that exists to consider strategic issues relevant to the future development of the Brisbane Markets and the fruit and vegetable industry generally.
The committee is chaired by BML Board member Mike Ahern, and includes representation from key sectors of industry including growers, retailers and consumer representatives. The grower's representatives John Pressler (Emerald), Jamie Jurgens (Bowen) and Rob Hinrichsen (Kalbar) will ensure that the committee gains a broad level of input from within the growing sector.
