Sunday Discovery stallholders

Booked stalls
Booked stalls are given special considerations. Those stalls that book on a monthly basis are given a fixed location of choice (depending on availability) each month. These stalls are also provided with stallholder newsletters giving information relevant to stallholders, and are given the opportunity to participate in various promotions, events or competitions throughout the year.
Weekly stallholders (booked) are guaranteed a position for the Sunday that they book, preference of location is given depending on availability.
To make a booking, telephone phone 07 3915 4200 1062 between 7.00am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday, or telephone Ken Kay on 0409 014 388 or Bruce Holland on 0437 539 220 to make a booking on weekends or outside the office hours above.
Non booked (casual) stalls
Stallholders are permitted to attend the Sunday Discovery Market on a casual basis, that is, stallholders can arrive on the morning of market day and set up their stall without booking. However, due to the busy nature of this popular market, non booked stallholders are NOT guaranteed a position and must arrive by 30 minutes prior to public entry on market day (whilst booked stalls are permitted entry from 3.45am). Please note that booked stalls receive priority.
Whilst every effort will be made, there are times when the Market is filled to capacity and some stallholders may not be allowed entry. It is strongly recommended that stallholders book in advance of attending the Sunday Discovery Market to avoid disappointment.
Opening times
Brisbane MarketPlace is open to the general public between 6.30am and 12.30pm from May to August (Winter trading hours) and between 6.00am and 12noon September to April (Summer trading hours).
Gates are opened for stallholders two hours before public entry and stallholders must be in the market half an hour before public entry. Stalls must be vacated two hours after the Market closes to the public. No vehicle movement is permitted within the market precinct during trading hours.
