In September 2007, the former Minister for Agriculture, Peter McGauran, appointed the Horticulture Code Administration Committee (HCAC) whose task it is to provide advice in relation to issues including the operation, effectiveness and impact of the Horticulture Code of Conduct, introduced in May 2007.
