Queensland’s biggest fruit and vegetable competition came to a close at the end of July and all 26 winners are now happily planning to spend their $1,000 worth of fruit and vegetables over the coming year.
They are over 70 years old but they continue to win industry accolades. Toowoomba retailer Betros Bros on Russell Street has just been announced the Brisbane Produce Market’s Retailer of the Month for July.
A select group of Fresh Tastes greengrocers donated their time to attend Queensland’s biggest show, the Ekka, to showcase easy family friendly recipes via cooking demonstrations in the Brisbane Markets Agricultural Hall.
